WordPress or custom React — how we actually decide
The honest answer is that most business sites don't need custom code, and we say so even when a custom build would be the bigger project. WordPress wins when the site is content-heavy, needs to be updated often without a developer on call, or has to plug into a large ecosystem of existing plugins — booking calendars, membership areas, WooCommerce stores. It gets a client to a credible, self-editable site fast, and that matters more than technical purity for a lot of businesses.
Custom React earns its cost when the site is really a product with a website wrapper — when interactions, performance, or a specific user flow are core to what the business is selling, not just supporting it. Vedha Structures, one of our WordPress builds, is a good example of the other end: a custom industrial theme and a project-gallery structure the client updates entirely themselves, no developer dependency, because a steel contractor's site is fundamentally about credibility and content, not application logic.
What "loads fast" means in practice
Fast isn't a vague promise — it comes down to a handful of concrete decisions made during the build, not bolted on afterward. Images get compressed and served in modern formats instead of dropped in at full camera resolution. Fonts and third-party scripts are loaded so they don't block the page from rendering. Anything not needed for the first screen — a background video, a below-the-fold widget — is deferred rather than fetched eagerly. None of this is exotic; it's mostly discipline, applied consistently, rather than a single trick.
We test against real device and network conditions, not just a fast office connection, because a site that feels instant on a laptop can feel sluggish on a mid-range phone over mobile data — and for a lot of Indian SME audiences, that's the connection that actually matters.
What happens after launch
Handover includes documentation for whatever the client needs to manage themselves — how to edit a WordPress page, how a React site's content is structured, where assets live — plus a short support window to catch anything that only shows up once real visitors start using the site. After that, most clients either manage updates themselves (the point of building on WordPress in the first place) or move to an ongoing support retainer, which is a separate service, not an assumed add-on to the build.
What we need from you to start
The single biggest variable in how long a build actually takes is content readiness — logo and brand assets, copy (or at least a clear idea of what each page needs to say), and any photos specific to the business, since generic stock imagery is usually the first thing that makes a site look interchangeable with a competitor's. A discovery call at the start surfaces what's missing early, rather than discovering it mid-build when it can stall a sprint.
Beyond that, we mainly need a point of contact who can review and sign off on mockups and staged demos at a reasonable pace — the sprint-based process depends on that feedback loop running on schedule, not on everything being handed over perfectly on day one.
Frequently asked questions
A standard business website takes 2–4 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on the number of pages and content readiness.
